Kroydon is the co-Founder and Managing Director of GKD.

With 15 years’ experience in the painting industry, you’ll find Kroydon along all links of the GDK chain from client consultation and pricing to on- and off- site project management.

Kroydon has been part of some pretty cool projects. One standout project was on Vomo Island in Fiji, spending five months helping to restore the severe damage caused by a cyclone.

In 2022, after four years working for himself as a sole trader, Kroydon and his partner Georgia decided to take the leap to bring GKD to life as a determined and growing company servicing residential and commercial painting projects across Auckland.

You’ll quickly see the care and pride Kroydon takes in his work, always striving to provide an outstanding quality of service and finish for his customers – he’ll be “your favourite painter” as how he likes to put it. His passion for all things painting along with his drive to aim high have given Kroydon the skills to be a well-respected leader and painter.

Kroydon is a big team player, one thing he loves most about his role is seeing his team grow and upskill around him.

In his spare time, Kroydon is a white belt in Jiu-Jitsu and often attends competitions. He loves working out, walks with Georgia and their much-loved dogs Bali and Storm, and spending quality time with family.
